About NJRA

You are here at our web site because you are curious about our firm and care about good design - just like us.

What is good design? We believe it is a design that fulfills its function above and beyond, works efficiently, and stands bold and beautiful forever.

NJRA Architects has flourished since 1977 on these principles. For more than 30 years, our repeat clients have helped us nourish our design skills. In the collaboration process with our clients we have learned several lessons:

  1. Ask relevant questions and listen to answers.
  2. Get to the core of what we are trying to solve, efficiently and quickly.
  3. Discard quick and easy solutions.
  4. Listen to all key players and create a collaborative process.
  5. Explore several options, allowing the client to help identify ideas that work or don’t work.
  6. Arrive at a final solution that surpasses today’s needs and addresses future demands.

GOOD DESIGNERS are GOOD LISTENERS

GOOD LISTENERS are GOOD COLLABORATORS

GOOD COLLABORATORS are GOOD CREATORS

At NJRA Architects we have several such Creators. Besides creators we have dreamers, problem solvers, innovative thinkers, and managers. Our workplace is open, allowing us the opportunity to collaborate, yet quiet, allowing us the ability to think out solutions. Our workplace is a technologically enabled space to communicate and produce, and at the same time an inspiring and fun space where we can create similar environments for our clients.

Firm Profile

NJRA Architects, Inc. has been designing facilities throughout the United States for over 30 years. We specialize in K-12 Schools and Healthcare. We also have extensive experience in office buildings, utilities, communication centers, residential, and community service facilities.

We don’t believe in preconceived solutions. We foster creative thinking, sharing thoughts, and taking time to find the right solution. This process helps us provide a properly designed and long lasting building. A significant part of our approach is to incorporate fresh ideas. From the specific needs of the program to the inherent conditions of the site, each building is unique and has a unique set of elements that feed the process.

Ultimately, we believe that architecture is about people, hence, the creation of architecture should be a mutual effort that involves all those who will be influenced by it.
