Allied Health Sciences Buildings
Ogden, Utah
Year Completed: 1994
Square Footage: 25,000
Client: Weber State University
The Allied Health Sciences Building is an educational building designed to accommodate education for Dental Hygiene technology and Radiology technology. NJRA designed the Allied Health Sciences project as two separate buildings. The first building was a 20,000 sq. ft. free standing facility. The lower floor level provides classrooms, radiographic technical rooms, reception and waiting areas for the Radiology School Department. The upper floor level provides classrooms, operatories, wet lab rooms and waiting areas for the Dentistry School Department.
After completion of drawings, the University requested a 5,000 sq. ft. connector building to link the new Phase II with the existing Phase I building. This connector building is a two level structure compatible with the two phases and provides an exterior entry and connector to both buildings on each level. This facility has an 80 seat lecture hall, conference rooms, and offices.
