Selvam joined the firm in 1990. He became an Associate in 1998. Selvam received Master of Architecture degree from the University of Utah in 1991. He is a member of the National Golden Key Honor Society for his outstanding performance. He received Bachelor of Architecture degree from Anna University, Chennai, India in 1989. He graduated at the top of his class and received the Gold Medal Award from the University. He is a member of CEFPI (Council of Education Facility Planners International) and AIA (American Institute of Architects). Selvam recently attended the LEED-NC Technical Review Workshop in Berkeley (May 2005).

He has strong passion for design and perfection. He attends conferences regularly to know the current trends in healthcare and educational fields. He concentrates on the accuracy of information provided in the construction documents. A well coordinated document helps the contractor to be on schedule and also avoids unnecessary change orders.

Selvam is very active in the community. He is a board member for the Hindu Temple Building Committee. He presides the board for the India Cultural Center Design Committee. He also served as treasurer for the India Forum of Utah from 1994 through 1997.

Keeping in shape, both physically and mentally, he plays tennis regularly and enjoys participating in skits and plays. His five year old son, Varun, enjoys Selvam's artistic talents as the two of them draw Dora and Thomas Train characters.
