Tim Jessop, RA
Education: Master of Architecture – University of Utah
Time with NJRA: 1 Year
Tim received his Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Utah in 2006. He grew up around the construction trades in rural Montana where he learned to appreciate the values of family and hard work. After high school, Tim worked in retail management and as a project manager in the manufacturing industry, where he earned a CPIM certification from the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
Tim has always stayed close to the construction industry where he worked as a carpenter. In 1995 qualified for his contractor’s license and operated his own framing crew until he went back to school to pursue his passion in Architecture.Tim has been a project manager on a wide range of architectural projects including individual residences, multifamily housing, master planned mixed-use developments, tenant improvements, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and hotels.
Away from work, Tim enjoys spending most of his time with his immediate and extended family. He has recently discovered a passion for playing golf (although it won’t likely become his day job) and he is an avid fan of anything related to the University of Utah athletics.
